A HEART FOR ANDOUM
HEALING • LEARNING • COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
PA’A-KOS is preparing a faith-inspired humanitarian and development initiative for conflict-affected communities around Andoum in southern Chad. The project combines psychosocial recovery with safer learning opportunities.
Three practical commitments
Trauma recovery training
Equip local facilitators and caregivers with practical, context-sensitive approaches to trauma recovery.
Community recovery sessions
Provide safe, guided sessions where affected people can process difficult experiences and rebuild hope.
Two classrooms
Construct two classrooms to improve access to education and strengthen continuity of learning for children in the area.
“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” — James 2:16
